Who We Are.

We are the first Black-led, statewide civil rights legal clinic in Washington dedicated to supporting families impacted by police violence. Founded in memory of Carlos Hunter—killed by police in 2019—RJPMC exists to expose injustice, investigate misconduct, and demand systemic change. We offer:

  • Legal case assessments and attorney referrals
  • Investigative guidance and documentation support
  • Trauma-informed advocacy rooted in lived experience
  • Public education, community organizing, and policy reform
